McKinley & Taylor Has Been Manufacturing Stainless Steel Equipment In Edmonton For 70 Years
In 1952, Tom McKinley & Roy Taylor founded Edmonton’s only custom stainless steel foodservice equipment manufacturing company. Tom McKinley, a sheet metal mechanic and Roy Taylor, a welder, started the business as a sheet metal shop. Along with a chief designer and engineer McKinley & Taylor led the way in serving Western Canada custom stainless steel equipment for the foodservice industry.
From 1950 to 1980, McKinley & Taylor was involved with several significant projects, including Dietary Facilities at the University of Alberta, Walter C. Mackenzie Health Sciences Centre, Edmonton Convention Centre, Westin Hotel in Edmonton, Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Grande Prairie, as well as numerous other restaurants, hotels, and hospitals throughout Western Canada.
